About TTK

At The Table Kampala, we create emotionally intelligent, culturally relevant spaces where young people feel seen, heard, and empowered. Through curated events, creative learning, and community-led platforms, we support youth from early childhood through young adulthood to grow with confidence, purpose, and belonging.

We work at the intersection of culture, education, wellness, and community, using real-world experiences to prepare young people for life in a fast‑changing world.

What We Do

More than events. A pathway to growth.

Our work is designed around the full youth journey, offering age‑specific experiences that spark creativity, strengthen identity, and build real-life skills.

The Kids Table (Ages 4–12)

Play-based, imaginative programs that nurture curiosity and confidence in early childhood. Through storytelling, hands-on art, junior STEM labs, and themed adventures, children develop social skills, creativity, and a love for learning in safe, joyful environments.

The Teens Table (Ages 13–20)

Culture-driven events and workshops created with—and for—Gen Z. From music, fashion, and tech to mental health and identity, teens engage in spaces where authentic connection, leadership, and self-expression can thrive.

The Family Table (All Generations)

Guided intergenerational sessions designed to rebuild communication, empathy, and trust between parents, teens, and caregivers. These calm, reflective spaces help families reconnect and grow together.

Our Approach

Young people don’t need to be told who to be—they need space to become.

We focus on a group often overlooked in traditional development models: Gen Z youth from high-access, high-pressure environments. Many have opportunity, but lack spaces that support emotional wellness, identity exploration, and purpose.

Our model is:

  • Lifestyle-led and non-competitive

  • Youth co-created at every level

  • Grounded in emotional intelligence and cultural relevance

  • Designed to build confidence before performance

We don’t just engage youth—we activate them, connecting personal growth to leadership, service, and community impact.

Skill-Building & Learning

Preparing youth for the real world

Our year-round workshops are co-designed with young people and led by facilitators who understand their realities. Focus areas include:

  • Financial literacy and entrepreneurship

  • Emotional wellness and mental health

  • Digital skills and creative technology

  • Leadership, communication, and personal growth

  • Gender equity and social awareness

Learning at The Table is practical, human, and rooted in lived experience.
